This position will work directly with the Vice President of Syndication and the Credit team.  The position is responsible for supporting the credit and syndication functions by evaluating credit risk and securing credit approval.  We seek an individual with an Equipment Leasing, Lending, or Finance background who is proactive, competitive, independent, eager to learn and has a strong work ethic. The position will support the credit review and underwriting process, syndication partner management, reporting, and analytics.

Key Duties


Transaction Analysis

  • Complete initial review, spreads, and Risk Rating of all newly awarded or other specified transactions
  • Review transactions with Credit and Capital Markets group to qualify for direct investment and/or syndication

Transaction Processing

  • Work with Sales Team to gather diligence and perfect credit and syndication package
  • Work with Capital Markets to syndicate transactions secure 3rd party credit approvals
  • Work with the Documentation and Funding team to manage transactions through funding

Syndication Participant Management

  • Ongoing development of new capital markets partnerships
  • Maintain detailed and accurate capital markets database and knowledgebase

Tracking and oversight

  • Oversee on-boarding of new affiliates
  • Produce management reports
  • Coordinate credit and finance committee meeting action items

General Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in equipment finance credit or sell-side syndications for transactions above $1MM
  • Strong credit analysis skills for commercial credits typically $100MM – $10Bn in revenues
  • Knowledge of equipment financing structures
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; TValue and SuperTrump experience a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high quality work product
  • Robust communication and presentation skills
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship development skills
