The Senior Credit Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of credit risk, asset risk, and portfolio risk for the company’s held and syndicated portfolio.  This role is responsible for ensuring that investment decisions and portfolio management are made in accordance with established guidelines and policies.  This person is also responsible for updating and adapting policies and strategies as necessary.

Key Duties


  • Work with SR. executives on the Committee to evaluate and provide credit decision recommendations.
  • Establish risk ratings complete credit write ups that take into account credit risk, asset risk, market risk, and structure
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of obligors in the portfolio
  • Maintain and report to management ongoing risk rating and concentrations within the portfolio
  • Work with CFO to ensure compliance with credit facility terms
  • Continue to evaluate the appropriateness of credit policy and provide recommendations
  • Work with obligors and relationship managers as appropriate to complete transactions

General Requirements

  • 7+ similar equipment finance underwriting experience
  • Previous signing authority preferred
  • Strong experience with financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, and collateral analysis
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Strong analytical and communications skills
  • Highly curious
