The Vendor Sales position is responsible for developing referral programs with 3rd party sources from equipment vendors (e.g. manufacturers, resellers, distributors, etc.). This individual will prospect and develop the referral source and secure commitments via informal referral arrangements to generate middle and upper middle market finance transactions ($250,000 – $100,000,000).

Responsibilities

  • Establish referral relationships through vendors
  • Coordinate with CGCF’s Marketing Team to execute a multifaceted database marketing plan to generate 3rd party referral opportunities
  • Call on and visit 3rd party vendor accounts and prospects
  • Identify and qualify financial transactions
  • Work with management to analyze, price, and structure transactions
  • Assist in the management of transactions through the funding process
  • Utilizing the company’s existing CRM to build and maintain a database of referral sources segmented by source type

General Requirements

  • Experience developing and managing equipment financing vendor programs
  • Knowledgeable of lease structuring and pricing
  • Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
  • Strategically develop relationships with major accounts and referral sources
  • Work with team members to drive transactions from bid to funding
  • At least three years middle to large ticket equipment financing experience
  • Advanced pricing skills; HP, TValue, and SuperTrump desired
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, excellent work ethic, persistence and assertiveness
