The primary responsibility of the VPSO to maintain a steady flow of new and qualified opportunities to the sales team.  The VPSO will accomplish this by recruiting, developing, and managing great people, driving and measuring activities and results, and working with all facets of the sales and marketing team to ensure a quality lead pipeline.  The Sales Manager works directly with the President and SVP of Sales to manage all of the sales operations, personnel, transaction management, marketing, and reporting functions of the sales team.  The ideal candidate has strong direct selling capabilities, management, leadership, and employee development skills.  The Sales Manager will need to be highly organized and able to be effective in within a highly experienced and driven team.
This position is integral to the growth of the Company as it will have a direct impact on growing originations, maximizing profitability, optimizing processes, and increasing organizational effectiveness.

Key Duties


  • Recruiting/hiring for all positions within the sales and marketing team
  • Employee training, development, evaluation
  • Develop, maintain, and report on key performance indicators and other sales and marketing metrics
  • Oversee direct marketing efforts including call and email campaigns
  • Manage opportunity pipelines and assist with account development
  • Coordinate with Management, Finance, and Documentation teams on the processing and workflow for all transactions

General Requirements

  • 10+ years enterprise sales experience in a technical industry. Financials services / equipment financing is a plus
  • 5+ years sales management experience
  • MS Office – Strong Excel skills required. Word and PowerPoint preferred.
  • CRM experience – preferably

  • Strong employee / team development skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
